Abstract

|
A 30-year-old man with a history of slowly progressive forehead swelling and ptosis was found radiologically to have a radial striation in the right fronto-orbital bone.
En-bloc resection of the bony mass was performed and the bony defect of frontal bone and orbital roof was reonstructed with the outer table of parietal bone. Histopathologically the tumor was a carvenous hemangioma.
In our experience, the plain x-ray appear to be more reliable for diagnosis than C-T scan exhibiting the characteristic sunburst pattem and the En-bloc resection is more abvisible method than simple excision and curettage.
On reconstruction of bony defect of fronto-orbital lesion, it gives better contour to use the outer table of frontoparietal bone just sbove the defect as donor site.
